A day's worth of food, and some photos taken of the weather from my flat. Edinburgh can be particularly changeable this time of year.
Action packed morning muesli!!!
Oats, walnuts, hazelnuts, brazil nuts, goji berries, cranberries, apricots, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, almond flakes, coconut flakes, and dried banana flakes and soy milk... this is serious stuff and I eat it every morning.
Super yummy Smoked Tofu from The Engine Shed stir-fried with purple kale, purple sprouting broccoli, and spring greens... mmmmm

I see that you are living in Edinburgh? Or am I wrong?
How is it in Edinburgh, and do you have some places, stores,museeums and so on, that you want to recommend?

Hi there,
I do live in Edinburgh, and very nice it is too.
Its a lovely old city sitting between two inactive volcanoes. There's loads to do, and the people are, for the most part, very friendly. I fell in love with the city the first time I came up here and have remained here ever since.
As far as places to go, other than the obvious Edinburgh Castle and such...
Places:
Dean Village and the Water of Leith - An old mill village just next to main area of the city. Its very peaceful, and you can walk along the river to Stockbridge (another nice part of the city).
Holyrood Park - An extinct Volcano, and a lovely place to wander.
Duddingston Loch- just past Holyrood park, also the home of the Sheep Heid Pub The oldest pub in Edinburgh.
St Gile's Cathedral- A neat cathedral on the Royal Mile (The main street in the old town)- its free.
The Surgeon's Hall Museum. Edinburgh was a major city for medical training in the 18th and 19th Century. This museum has all kinds of gory tools and things in jars.
Niddry St and the Cowgate - These can get overrun by drunk students in the evenings, but the area is very unique to Edinburgh
Shops:
The Royal Mile is packed with Scottish shops selling kilts and all things Tartan.
Cockburn Street, has quite a few interesting shops.
My favourite shop for gifts is acutally the Museum shop at the Royal Museum.
